Approx 4,000 runners turn out for the 2026 Raheny 5-mile road race - 25th Jan 2026

The big road race in Ireland last weekend was the Raheny 5-mile in Dublin. As can be seen from the start line above, it's a huge race but I wasn't aware of just how big a race it is. The chip timing results show a total of 3993 finishers which is incredible for a 5-mile race.
